Special Services at St Paul's

St Paul's is the Civic Church of the Borough of Bedford and the county of Bedfordshire and hosts a wide variety of services for the wider church and community.

Every September the High Sheriff's Service for HM Judges takes place at St Pauls, which is also attended by HM Lord Lieutenant for Bedfordshire and representatives of the legal, police and probation services.

As well as carol services for schools, borough and other country organisations, in recent years we have hosted the annual regional Road Victims Trust Service of Remembrance as well as that for National Aids Day in December. Services have also been held for the Royal British Legion and for the commemoration of the outbreak of the First World War, as well as those in celebration of HM The Queen.
St Paul's has a long standing link with the military, and the church is the final resting place for the colours of the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Regiment from 1858 and for the East Anglian Regiment from 1995.

We are always pleased to host services for charities and other organisations and would be pleased to discuss these. Please do contact the Administrator in the first instance
