Walsingham Cell

The Cell of the Society of Our Lady of Walsingham exists to offer pilgrims to Walsingham an opportunity to strengthen and renew the spiritual benefits of their pilgrimage. The Cell is intended to a focus of prayer for all within the parish. As well as praying for the work of the Shrine we seek to honour Mary, the Mother of our Lord Jesus Christ, to deepen faith in His incarnation and to seek holiness of life through prayer, the scriptures and the sacraments. To help us, we usually make an annual pilgrimage to Walsingham in company with the Cell at the Parish of St Martin in Bedford, and encourage others to do the same.

The Cell meets for the Eucharist in the Trinity Chapel at 7:00pm on the third Tuesday of the month to pray for the Shrine of our Lady at Walsingham, Norfolk and to give thanks for its witness to the mystery of the incarnation. All are welcome. It is not necessary to be a member to attend.

The present Vicar, Fr Kevin is a Priest Associate of the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham and Superior of the Cell.
